Before I moved I was “gifted” a nice pressure washer and air compressor. Since everyone cancelled on our riding trip today (3 wheeler guys can be flakey at times) I figured I’d pressure wash my deck.
Failed. No pressure. Someone left water in it over the winter and killed the unloader. Ok, $30 on Amazon and I’ll be good for next week.
On to the compressor.
Hey! It works! Why can’t I get air?? Wtf?!
Bad regulator. Frozen shut. I got this though. Swap an old one on and viola!
Now to drain the tank. Crap. It’s full of mud. That brown puddle on the ground near it isn’t water it’s rust sludge. So now I’m flushing it as best I can to keep it alive.
Fine.. On to the riding mower that I just got running. I know it just needs gas.
Oh, fu—ing lovely.
Screw it. Time to light the Grill and drink some beers.

If it has bad rust please dont use it. I like fellow oppos to continue being alive and not full of shrapnel.

Sounds like you tried to make the best of it, but sometimes it’s better to just say fuck it.

I don’t think it’s there yet. But it isn’t long for my world anyway. It’s only good for inflating tires, too small to do any paint work or run pneumatic tools.

Absolutely.
If I was a smarter man I would have just chucked a pole and the dog in the truck and went fishing as soon as the day started going south.

It costs us a lot to live here, but I can’t say I miss suburban tasks (but for working on my own cars). When I leave in the morning I know the sidewalks will be shoveled, if we had grass it’d be trimmed, and there are people who work in the building that I can call to fix anything.

I complain but I do love it. I get where you’re coming from though.
My friends all describe me as an “outside dog”. Condo and apartment living just don’t suit me. I need space.

Why doesn’t my viola look like that?

Because it doesn’t fit under your chin.

It all worked out in the end. I cleaned every ground terminal i could find and the light went away.
